Jax Sportify is happy and excited to introduce Indoor cricket - a first of its kind in Jacksonville. Indoor Cricket, often referred as Box cricket is a thrilling version of traditional cricket. The box cricket is played with unique rules and regulations to add excitement to this unique game. Playing cricket in an enclosed space comes with its own challenges, and box cricket takes this into account with unique rules put in place to make the game fairer for both teams in action. A truly fun version is open for all genders - juniors (>6), and adults - men and women of all ages. It promotes a collaborative & team environment among players and is fun & easy enabling players of any skill level to participate. Box Cricket Hours & Pricing
1-Hour Package:
Up to 6 Players - $60.00 (incl. tax) , additional player $10/player
Up to 12 players - $104.00 (incl. tax), additional player $10/player
2-Hours Package:
Up to 6 Players - $90.00 (incl. tax), additional player $15/player
Up to 12 players - $170.00 (incl. tax), additional player $15/player
Team Memberships:
6 Players Package - $150.00 per month (incl. tax), 4-hours play per month, additional members at $25/membership
Enrollment Fee - 50% off of a one-time fee of $40 per membership.
Individual Memberships: $35.00 per month, includes 4-hours play per month
Additional Hours for members (beyond 4-hours) - $5/hr, $10/2-hours
Guest Fee - $10/hour, $18/2-hours
Please note that members can book the box cricket court online via the portal or mobile app. It is sufficient for 1 member to book for the group and remaining members will be checked in by front desk personnel. Non-members can submit the request via the below form.
Important note: A clean non-marking shoes is mandatory for all players. Shoes can be rented at the club, if required.

Box Cricket Format & Rules for regular play & for tournament (could be slightly different for juniors & women):
Team & Match format:
6 or 8 overs an innings, 6 players a side (1 extra player per team), only 6 players allowed to play in court includes Wicket keeper.
Over per bowler limit: Over-arm throw (no regular bowling or run up) - only 2 bowlers can bowl max 2 Overs (1 bowler to bowl 2 overs if total overs is 6), rest get to bowl only 1 over.
First Over Rule: 1st over is super over. Double over (with the points scored by the team doubled including wide and No ball) if team loses a wicket – double over will stop at that moment with regular scoring continues. (minus) -1 run will be deducted for the wicket.
Wide ball rules:
1 run penalty to the bowling team, earning 1 run to batting team
No Ball rules:
Full toss above waist is a no-ball, ball not counted, 2 runs penalty, and next ball is a free hit.
1st bouncer over shoulder height allowed with warning to bowler (Per over)
2nd bouncer over shoulder height is consider no ball - 2 runs penalty, and next is a ball free hit.
2 no balls are allowed with penalty and if 3rd no ball in the same over, bowler will be disqualified.
Final decision will rest with the umpire.
Boundaries:
Fours: Beyond marked pillars, and below horizontal yellow line.
Sixes: Same as fours, except above horizontal yellow line.
Fly through shots will be counted as four or six based on 1st impact point
Over throws to the fence can result in 4's and 6's.
Bowling out of mat/pitch area – No Ball.
No Run – if ball goes beyond wickets even if first impact before wickets.
Catches:
Out - Direct catches, direct after re-bounce from side walls, & celling
Granted Runs & Not-out – Re-bounce from marked areas of back straight wall - 2s, 4s or 6s.
LBW:
No LBW outs, No Leg bye.
Other rules:
If a wicket falls, the batting team will receive penalties, typically resulting in a deduction 1 run.
The last ball of the innings is a jackpot ball, with the points scored by the team doubled. If it is a dismissal, the negative points are also doubled.
Wicket keeper is mandatory
Last batsman allowed, player has to run for 2 runs or above. Single run not allowed for Last batsman.
In case of Tie, Super Over will be played.
Admin Rules:
All players must wear clean non marking shoes. players are requested to come in sportswear.
All players must report at venue 15 minutes before game start.
Umpire decisions are final & irrevocable. Arguments with umpire will lead to player/team disqualification. This will be strictly followed.
Matches will be played with very soft tennis ball.
PROFANITY/CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL/ DRUNKEN TEAM MEMBERS ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED ON THE FIELD
